As previously mentioned, I am doing NaNoWriMo and I am striving to reach 50,000 words by the end of the month. Which is why my post last week was so short. It’s also why this week I decided to do a post about my novel! I am writing a YA about a boy named Thomas Villow and without further ado, my synopsis:
After his mom is arrested for a multitude of crimes, Thomas Villow is forced to go live with his father and his family. A strange letter from a plane ride, rough beginnings, and a lot of poor decisions spur Thomas into adventure.
It’s short but I like to hold my cards close to my chest. The working title is How to Beat a Crime Lord. It’s also written on the cover I drew above.
I’m also planning to add another short story to the website after November. The chapters of that one and the current one will switch out weekly. That’s it for now. Any feedback or suggestions? Leave them in the comments or go to my contact page!
(Current word count 12,724)
You’ve done well post on that synopsis. It’s the part I find the hardest to write. Sounds really interesting.

Thank you. I was afraid it was too short. I don’t like to tell people too much before they read things.

Perhaps others would disagree, but that little tidbit would be enough to intrigue me enough to read the book.
